Privacy Policy — Imagino

This Privacy Policy explains what Imagino (imagino.dev) collects, why, and the choices you have. We try to keep it short and human.

What we collect

Account info: email, display name, avatar, and authentication identifiers from your sign-in provider (e.g. Google).
Generation data: photos you upload, prompts you write, the images generated for you, and metadata such as timestamps and template used.
Usage analytics: anonymized events about how you use the app (page views, clicks, generation attempts, errors) to improve the product.
Payment info: handled by Razorpay. We store the order ID, amount, and credits granted — we never see or store your card details.

How we use it

To run the service: authenticate you, generate images, deliver credits.
To improve quality: aggregate analytics, error monitoring.
To communicate: account, billing, security, and (optional) product updates.
To prevent abuse: fraud, spam, and content-safety checks.

How we share it

We do not sell your data. We share it only with service providers we need to run Imagino:

Lovable Cloud / Supabase — database, auth, file storage.
Razorpay — payment processing.
AI model providers — your prompt and (optionally) the uploaded photo are sent to the active generation provider (Lovable AI, Google Gemini, Hugging Face, or Pollinations, depending on routing) solely to generate your image.

We may disclose information if required by law or to protect users.

Public content

Generations you mark public, post to the community feed, or share via a link become visible to others, along with your display name and avatar.

Data retention

We keep your account and content while your account is active. You can delete individual generations any time. To delete your account and associated data, email support@imagino.dev. Backups may persist for up to 30 days.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (GDPR, India DPDP Act, CCPA, etc.) you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. Contact support@imagino.dev and we'll respond within 30 days.

Children

Imagino is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from them.

Security

We use industry-standard measures (encryption in transit, RLS-based database access, hashed credentials via the auth provider). No system is 100% secure, but we treat your data carefully.

Changes

We'll post material changes here and update the "Last updated" date above.
